How to automatically activate ByteGPT in a conversation

If you want the ByteGPT respond automatically from the customer's first message, follow this step-by-step guide. This process will allow the ByteGPT be activated automatically and respond to the customer immediately, without the need for manual intervention.

Step 1: Access the salesbot flow

  1. Go to the Settings section of the Kommo.
  2. Navigate to the Salesbots section under Communication Tools.
  3. Find and open the flow corresponding to the Salesbot flow created by ByteGPT, who wants to make the change.

Step 2: Modify the flow

New template ByteGPT v2

 If you use template ByteGPT V2, follow these steps:

  1. In the template, delete the step 1 “Pause Until message received” and connect the “Start bot” directly to the step 2 break.
  2. After that, go to the last step, step 16, and add the pause “Until the message received”
  3. In the new step, select “Go to another step” and select the step 2 and click save.

It is important to emphasize that you should not skip or remove the step 2 because it is an important point in the flow.

*Important*: Make sure that in this scenario, the salesbot will receive a message upon startup. Otherwise, the flow will return errors. 

Old template ByteGPT v1

  1. Na Kommo, go to “Settings” > “Communication tools”.
  2. Find the table with the list of Salesbots.
  3. Select the conversation trigger “When conversations are started by an incoming message on any channel”. Follow the steps as shown in the images below:

  1. Identify the “Start Robot” step at the beginning of the flow;
  2. Delete step 81;
  3. Locate step 144 in the flow;
  4. Directly connect the “Start Robot” node to step 144;
  5. Verify that the “Message received” field in step 144 is set to “customer message”.

Step 3: Configure the conversation trigger

  1. Na Kommo, go to “Settings” > “Communication tools”.
  2. Find the table with the list of Salesbots.
  3. Select the conversation trigger “When conversations are started by an incoming message on any channel”. Follow the steps as shown in the images below:

Step 4: Test the configuration

  1. Start a new conversation on the lead card;
  2. Send a message as if you were a customer;
  3. Verify that the ByteGPT automatically responds to the first message.

important considerations

  • It is recommended clone the original template ByteGPT before making changes.
  • Make customizations to the copy of the template to preserve the original version.
  • Remember that this setting will cause the ByteGPT start and respond immediately, without pause or initial human intervention.

Problems solution

If the ByteGPT does not start or respond automatically after following these steps:

  1. Verify that all connections in the stream are correct.
  2. Confirm that the conversation trigger is enabled correctly.
  3. Test it on different communication channels to make sure it works for everyone.

By following these steps, you will be able to configure the ByteGPT to respond automatically from the customer's first message, optimizing response time and improving the user experience.
